A busy month of saying YES to disability inclusion

The past month has been full of activity for the YES Team — and every action we took focused on promoting disability inclusion. We put a strong spotlight on our new report about reasonable accommodations link, while continuing to support companies on their journey to becoming "Employers who say YES".

So what happened?

  • We took part in the annual Gala of Karta Róźnorodności — a special event full of insights and inspiration, and a space to meet fantastic people from the DEI community. During the gala, the fourth edition of the Diversity IN Check report was launched, featuring our article titled “Empathy and inclusion in the world of products and services.”

  • We also joined a session of the DEI Inspiratorium, where we spoke about practical ways to include people with disabilities in everyday organisational life. We’re grateful to Divercity+ for inviting us and promoting our report, and to Sodexo for creating such a welcoming atmosphere.

  • We participated in the second Inclu(vi)sion Congress, where our president, Agata Robińska, joined a panel discussion titled “The Research Cabinet: Employment, accessibility, and reasonable accommodations in light of new studies by Randstad Polska and the TAKpełnosprawni Foundation.” Our thanks go to Anna Potocka-Domin and Agnieszka Sztym for this valuable exchange.

  • On invitation from Konfederacja Lewiatan, we also took part in a meeting of the Diversity Management Board, where we presented the findings of our new report and promoted the message behind it: Equal doesn’t mean the same.

  • At LPP S.A., we delivered sessions for management, including the webinar “At work, we’re all equal” and the workshop “Inclusive etiquette – working with colleagues with disabilities.”

  • Together with LUX MED, Motorola Solutions, and Grupa EFL, we held in-person sessions of “Change your perspective – with the Agatas”. Participants experienced a range of disabilities, neurodiversity, and ageing through eight interactive stations.

  • At Hutchinson, we completed a training series for management teams as part of the “Inclusive leadership” programme.

  • And we also launched a long-term inclusive education programme with Beiersdorf Poland.

We would like to thank all the organisations, companies, and individuals who are working with us to promote disability inclusion through employment. Thank you for saying YES.
